FREE PATTERN - Eyeball Amigurumi

Eyeball Amigurumi

Use whatever yarn and hook will stitch up tightly enough to not show the stuffing. I used worsted cotton and a 3.75mm hook.

Pupil - Black:
Make a magic loop
In loop, sl st 1, ch 1, sc 5, pull tail to tighten loop, sl st to top of chain to close. Tie off. (6, incl ch st)
pull starting tail to tighten again and tie it off to secure it.

Iris, any color:
Sl st in any stitch from the pupil, ch 1. Sc 2 in each st around, sc 1 in the same st where you started this round, sl st to top of ch to join, tie off. (12, incl ch st)

White:
Rd 1: Sl st in any stitch from the iris, ch 1, sc 2 in next, sc 1, sc 2 in next, sc 1, sc 2 in next, sc 1, sc 2 in next, sc 1, sc 2 in next, sc 1, sc 2 in next, sl st to top of ch to join. (18, incl ch st)  (optional) use starting tail and yarn needle to stitch the reflection in the pupil.

Rd 2-4: ch 1, sc around, sl st to top of ch to join. (18, incl ch st)

Rd 5: ch 1, sc 2 tog, sc 1, sc 2 tog, sc 1, sc 2 tog, sc 1, sc 2 tog, sl st to top of ch to join. (12, incl ch st)

Stuff with desired filling.

Rd 6: ch 1, sc 2 tog around, sl st to ch to join, tie of, leaving a 5” tail.

Use tail and yarn needle to stitch opening closed, weave in end.

  1. Cool! I think adding a single strand of embroidery floss of red on white part would make a blood shot eye for halloween.
