Lacy Shell Scarf
Sport to light-worsted weight yarn (I used Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable in the picture)

6.0mm hook  

Chain 22

Row 1: Starting in 3rd chain from hook, dc 19 across

Row 2: Chain 1, turn, skip 2, dc 5 in next st, [skip 4, DC 5 in next] repeat [] 2 more times, skip 2, sc 1 in last st

Row 3: Chain 6 (first 3 ch count as chain stitch), sk 2, sc 1, [sk 4, ch 4, sc 1] repeat[] 2 more times, sk 2, ch 2, tc 1

Repeat rows 2-3 until the scarf is as long as you want.

Final row: Ch 3, DC 19 across.

Tie off, weave in ends.

Baby Fox Hat

Worsted weight yarn

5.0mm hook (newborn to 3 months)

5.5mm hook (3 to 6 months)


Rounds 1-9 are worked in continuous rounds; do not slip stitch or chain at the end of each round. Rounds 10-12 are joined rounds; follow instructions as written.



HAT

Chain 4, slip stitch to first ch to make a loop

Rd 1: In loop, sc 7, hdc 1 (8)

Rd 2: hdc 2 in each st (16)

Rd 3: [hdc 1, hdc 2 in next st] repeat around (24)

Rd 4: [hdc 1 in each of next 2 stitches, hdc 2 in next st] repeat around (32)

Rd 5: [hdc 1 in each of next 3 stitches, hdc 2 in next st] repeat around (40)

Rd 6: [hdc 1 in each of next 9 stitches, hdc 2 in next st] repeat around (44)

Rd 7-8: hdc around (44)

Rd 9: hdc 1 in each of next 42 stitches, sc 1 in each of next 2 stitches, sl st 1 (44)

Rd 10: ch 3, dc around, sl st to top of ch (44, including ch st)

Rd 11: ch 3, [fpdc 1, hdc 1] repeat around except for last hdc, sl to to top of ch (44, including ch st)

Rd 12: ch 2; in back loops, hdc around, sl st to top of ch (44, incl ch st)

Tie off, weave in ends.



EARS
(make 2 of main color, 2 of inside color):

Ch 6, leaving a long starting tail (36” for main ear color, 24” for “inside ear color)

Row 1: starting in 2nd ch from hook, sc 1 in each of 5 ch st

Row 2: ch 1, turn, sc 1 in each of next 4 stitches (skip last st)

Row 3: ch 1, turn, sc 1 in each of next 3 stitches (skip last st)

Row 4: ch 1, turn, sc 1 in each of next 2 stitches (skip last st)

Row 5: ch 1, turn, sc 1 (skip last st), tie off

Using starting tail, sc along side edge of triangle.

In the stitch at the top of the ear: sc 1, hdc 1, sc 1.

Sc along the second side edge of triangle (you can crochet over the end tail to hide it)



Assemble ears:

Match ear back to ear inside triangle. Using the longer main color tail, going through both loops of both parts of the ear, sc along side edge.

In the stitch at the top of the ear: sc 1, hdc 1, sc 1.

Sc along the second side edge of the triangle.

Use remaining main color tail to stitch ears to hat
